It’s been an exciting 2 weeks for IndePet launching our first ever Australian and New Zealand Supplier Trade Shows which are now done and dusted for the year. The first one kicked off in Sydney on Wednesday 19th July, followed by Auckland on Wednesday 26th July with both events a buzz of suppliers and shareholders networking and catching up.
The events were an opportunity to unite our members and suppliers as we continue to be stronger together and cement our place in the market.
Suppliers showcased new products, offered great deals and networked and engaged with store owners and key decision makers. It was fantastic to be there and feel the positive energy within the rooms. Our members also made the most of the rare occasion to get up close and personal to key suppliers, ask questions, negotiate deals and discuss plans for the future.
Our CEO Todd Clarkson spoke at the end of the day about our plans and goals for the next 12 months, ensuring suppliers and stores are aligned, followed by a casual drink and some food afterwards.
We would like to thank the suppliers who attended, the amount of support we received exceeded our expectations. The future of independent pet stores relies heavily on supplier support, and we were blown away with the attendance and genuine enthusiasm shown by all.
The feedback from everyone was extremely positive, leaving us eager to start planning for a bigger and better event next year. Bring on 2024!
