Tia Wishart, Business Development Manager
Tia joined IndePet in 2020 as Marketing and Business Manager.
Tia has worked in various retail roles since 2008 and joined the pet care industry in 2012, working part time while studying Law. After graduating and spending a year away from the industry, Tia missed it and came back. Starting back in store, Tia then worked in head office for a corporate pet retailer in inventory management and support services, followed by promotions and category management.
Tia moved into her current role as Business Development Manager in July 2022 and is responsible for ensuring current shareholders are aware IndePet member benefits, as well as growing the IndePet network. Tia is excited to be visiting all the stores (where the magic happens) and patting all the pets!
Tia is passionate about local and independent businesses and strongly believes independent retailers are vital to the pet care industry.
Outside of work you will find Tia in the mountains – running, climbing and mountain biking or travelling the world discovering remote and unique places.
